LAST WEEK

WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT NIGHT IT WAS!

Words cannot express how much pleasure it gave us all

just to be able to get together again after all this time.

The sense of fun and fellowship that characterises our club

made for a truly delightful evening, and the delicious

meal and beautiful venue were a bonus

that served to enhance our

celebrations.

To top it all off, Gabby was awarded a much deserved PHF with three sapphires,

Marion Moorfoot won the prize for the most festively dressed lady, and

Neil Ibbot for the most appropriately dressed gentleman.

We had lots of other raffles and a door prize, but I forget what they were and who won what.

Many of us had brought gift cards for the Salvos to distribute to there clientele.

Wendy explained to us that this year, Salvation Army had an additional group of individuals they needed to support, as International Students who were stranded here, and all of the other people on Visas which did not entitle them to Job Keeper/ Job Seeker, had no option other than to seek help

in early May of 2021 at the Coach in Ringwood.

The are reaching out for raffle prizes that can be awarded on the night. Wine, books or anything in 'as new' condition would be amazing. Please help if you can.

NewGen is helping out Melbourne’s homeless this Xmas by collecting $25 gift cards for

Reaching out Because We Can (ROBWC)

They have launched a gift card tree in partnership with R & G.

$25 gift cards can be purchased at Kmart, Big W and Target

and dropped off at the café at 605 Canterbury Road, Vermont.

The collection ends on Dec 23^rd.
