Hi everyone, a big couple of days for our Rotary Club and Bunnings Nunawading to update you all on.
In addition to our scheduled Sausage Sizzle on Thursday, Bunnings asked us to step in at the last minute and run Saturday's Sizzle as well, to replace a last minute withdrawal.
On Thursday we sold 310 Sausages and assorted drinks, to realise a Net Profit of $504.20.
On Saturday we tripled that effort, selling approx 620 sausages, with a Profit of $1557.45.
A total of $2061.65 in funds raised across the 2 days!!!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped out - especially Joe and Mary, who not only did the 2 earlybird shifts, but came back each afternoon to collect all the gear, AND did the shopping, AND cut up all the onions - 30 kg in total. A heroic effort from 2 wonderful people. Thank you so much.
Thanks to Sue, Max, Harvey, Lesley, Mike, Kevin & Janne, Wayne & Judy, Hank, David, Wendy, Ian S, Ian A, Bee, Gabby, and Mike, for rosters and filling shifts - especially those who did double duty at the Dads' Inc breakfast and then the Sausage Sizzle.
