3.8 million people die every year from water born diseases
This includes 25,000 children every day
The Aquabox is a first response to emergencies. The Aquabox Gold is able to provide purified/filtered water for a family of 4 for up to 6 months. It also holds treated mosquito nets, blankets, tarpaulin, cooking equipment and other humanitarian items. Once emptied of these items, the 75 litre container with its filter cartridges and water treatment tablets, turns dirty water into drinking water.
Over 1280 Aquaboxes have been distributed in the past 5 years to disaster areas including Vanuatu and Nepal.
Some Aquaboxes are now pre positioned in Cambodia and Philippines.
