You’re invited to an action-packed hour of online entertainment
as we “Reflect, Respect & Celebrate”
our wonderful nation on Australia Day!
Join Master of Ceremonies Amanda Wendt, Governor-elect District 9800, as we hear from our Zone 8 Director, Dr Jessie Harman, who will update us with valuable and exciting information on Rotary’s current and future directions.
A line-up of inspirational speakers will talk about Environment Sustainability, the Rotary Foundation, and news about some amazing training in trauma life support being given to Palestinian doctors.
You will also be entertained by top-class performances from Australian musical artists Josh Piterman, Alison Jones and Lisa Edwards.
Don’t miss this wonderful event.
Australia Day, Wednesday, 26th January 12 noon to 1.00p.m. AEST
To kick off the Garden Walks for 2022 , Bob's wife Coral Page, President of the Waverly Garden Club, will open her magnificent garden in Donvale on Australia Day, Wednesday 26th January, from 2pm until 5pm.
In a beautiful setting and shaded by an amazing collection of spectacular trees, Coral has a Summer garden filled with colour and texture.
Have a cuppa and bring a small plate of something to share for an afternoon tea to celebrate this Australia Day holiday. It would also be a clever idea to pop in a picnic rug or a folding chair so you can relax on the grassed areas. An afternoon to meet with old friends and make new friends too.
Many of you have registered your attendance or nonattendance at our Chinese New Year Luncheon to be held at the Shangrila Inn Restaurant at Brentford Square at Forest Hill on Saturday, 05 February 2022.
Unfortunately, many have also not registered your attendance or nonattendance which makes my job to arrange with the restaurant owner the final numbers attending the luncheon difficult.
The restaurant owner has requested me to provide her with the final numbers attending by close of business on Wednesday, 26 January 2022.
Therefore, those of you who wish to attend but have not informed and paid me the $62 per head cost of the luncheon please do so ASAP.
