Paraplegic Benefit Funds

Regionalization Pilot Project
 
Members should have received an email on 18 July about the regionalization pilot project.  There are 6 sessions you can attend, and they run for around 1 hour 20 each including questions. 
David Tolstrup is District 9810 representative, and he will visit Nunawading RC on 31 August 2022 to give a presentation on what it all means.
 District 9810 Rotaract Changeover
 
Shia and Gabby attended the District 9810 Rotaract Changeover at Box Hill Golf Club on Sunday 17 July.  It was great to hear about their achievements for the Rotary Year 2021/2022.  They are a very vibrant and proactive cohort.  
 
Sean Mann from Whitehorse Rotaract received an Avenues of Service, Club Service Award from Past District Governor Daryl Moran. 
 
As far as anyone is aware, this is the first time a Rotaractor has received this award so well done to Sean.  
Gabby, Judith, and Shia are visiting Whitehorse Rotaract on 10 August.
  Gabby will be doing a 15-minute presentation about Eastern Emergency Relief Network, and we will also talk about how we can work together moving forward.

National Tree Planting Day 
 
The City of Whitehorse have registered a site at
Gardiner’s Creek, Burwood .
They have around 3,000 trees to plant.
 
The planting is scheduled for Sunday 31 July 2022
between 10-1pm and will be followed by a BBQ.
 
Friends and families are encouraged to participate.
