Ian Symons gave us a most illuminating talk about the trip he, Mike, Sandra, Glenda accompanied by 2 other couples took last year.

The centrepiece of their 16,000 km journey was a trek along Gibb River Road which meant spending 25 nights in tents.  They started from Fitzroy Crossing and went to Windjana Gorge, Bell Creek/Bell Gorge, Manning Gorge, Mt Elizabeth Station, came across Drysdale River Station which is just your regular run of the mill farm at 1 million acres or 4000 square kms.  Then went to Mitchell Falls, Pentecost Ranges and River, Emma Gorge and Chamberlain Gorge.

The caravan never looked so good after that says Ian but they had a great time.

They also went to Broome and a few other places.

Ian and co have plenty of photos to share if you want to have a look.
