Wrap up of meeting 9th December 2015

Pres. Bruce advised of the Rotary Foundations ranking in the top 10 charities - The scores — ranked on a scale of 1 to 100 — are based on financial health, accountability and the transparency of reporting. TRF is ranked at Number 5 in the world

Attendance at Presidents BBQ on Saturday 9th January 2016 - please let Dick T know as soon as possible
Relay for Life monies need to be in ASAP. Please bring to meeting 16/12/2015

Tonights speaker was Peter Cummins from the Rotary Club of Box Hill. Peter gave a presentation on the upcoming District conference in Shepparton.

Keynote speakers will include Kate Carnell, Terry Grant, Major Brendan Nottle, Carolyn Overington, Paul Sheahan and Prof. Gordon Wallace.
The gala dinner theme is 'my favourite TV show'
When you register please advise whether you need a light lunch on Friday and whether you will attend the BBQ lunch on Sunday.
There is a listing of accommodation and restaurants on the conference website
There will be a Rotary expo and the contact is Rob Fenton for further information.

The amount raised so far is $2,110

Please collect sponsorships and donations and give to Gabby to have a receipt issued.

This has to be all finalised before Christmas and accountable documents sent back to the Cancer Council so bring $$$ to meeting on 16 December 2015.

Anyone going away, been away - send photos

bits and pieces

Please save the motel soaps or similar size for the 'Days for Girls' program which is a program for sending sanitation products in a wash bag for teenage girls overseas. Give them to Judith. Sandra and the RC Monash think our club is wonderful for saving all the soaps!!
Save used stamps with a good deal of the envelope! They pay by weight!
Don't forget to save your foreign coins and note
