Kevin Walker, the newly inducted President of NewGen spoke to us briefly of himself, and of NewGen's plans for the new Rotary Year. He will be our guest speaker in a couple of weeks
PROGRAM: Bob's experiment was a great success, bringing a new dimension to our Zoom meetings.
In lock down, I felt I got to know my fellow members better from the the material they presented as well as from they way in which they presented their poems.
Bruce first read a few poems from his recently published book and this was followed by presentations made by several members, some presenting their own work, while others read poems that resonated with them.

WEEKLY RAFFLE
For the last two zoom meetings we have held our normal club raffle and last week we conducted a fine session.
To make it easier to run these and keep track of members who are participating, a suggestion has been made, to offer all club members an opportunity to participate regardless of whether you are able to attend a zoom meeting .
Raffle tickets are 1 for $5.00 and
Fine participation is $2.00, totalling$7.00 a week.
As we are not paying for meals during the restrictions this is a good way of contributing to the club. A record of the tickets will be kept .
You do not have to be at the zoom meeting to win the raffle.
If you would like to participate on a weekly basis, let Janette Etherington or Russell Warmington know. We will keep track of the amount and you will be able to pay the amount at the end of each month. A reminder email will be sent to you.
Community Raffle
Please keep selling the Community Raffle Tickets.
Return all money and ticket stubs to Russell Warmington.
