The Rotary Club of Box Hill mourns the passing of our esteemed Charter Member and Honoured Life Member on 30 May.
A committed Rotarian for 60 years, Bruce served Rotary International by undertaking numerous positions including Club President and Secretary, District Governor, Chairman of a Zone Institute, Past Chairman of Australian Rotary Health, Personal Representative of the President of Rotary International at District Conferences and a Past Member of several Rotary International Committees.
Bruce's contributions to Rotary International were recognised when he was awarded the “Service Above Self” Award.
In addition to his Rotary service, Bruce gave outstanding service to the local Box Hill community in his many leadership roles.
Condolences are extended to David, Sally, Libby and their families of whom Bruce was so immensely proud.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
A service to celebrate the life of S. B. McKenzie OAM will be held at The Chalet, Riversdale Road, Surrey Hills at 2 pm on TUESDAY (13 June 2017).
A donation to the Australian Rotary Health Fund, rather than flowers, would be appreciated.
