Due to a double booking for the function room we were debunked - no meeting but good fellowship! 

A few items:

December 23 meeting is at Natalies Restaurant, Whitehorse Road, Mitcham. 7.15 for a 7.30am start. Cost is $20 per head.
“Coodabeen Champions” Member’s Anecdotes at meeting 13^th January.

With the first meeting of the year we will have members still away on an extended Christmas/New Year break plus it is difficult to get speakers at this time of the year. So instead we want members to share sporting anecdotes that they have seen or experienced. Emphasis on short so we can get a lot of anecdotes shared.

Only one rule, they must meet the first two aspects of the Rotary Four way test.

Hi Fellow Rotarians

As you will be aware I am organising for our club to go to the Alexandra Cup Race Meeting on March 5th 2016.

Entry is free into the track we only have to pay for lunch approx $25.00 a head. I will have the exact price in the next month.

I have booked 12 cottages at Stonelea Country Estate Acheron. Each cottage has a double bed or if you require 2 singles and an ensuite. A cooked breakfast is included in the price of $129.00 per cottage. Usual cost is $149.00. Stonelea is 10km out of Alexandra (all motels in Alex are booked out ).

John Sharwood is trying to organise a Mini Bus to transport us I have arranged for us to get in to the cottages around 11.00am so we can call at the Cottages prior to going to the races.

We will go to the races then come back to freshen up prior to going to the Golf club for Dinner We will be with other Rotarians from Alexandra and possibly some other clubs.

I require a CASH deposit of $50.00 per couple to secure you a cottage this will need to be paid before the end of January

Anyone going away, been away - send photos

bits and pieces

Please save the motel soaps or similar size for the 'Days for Girls' program which is a program for sending sanitation products in a wash bag for teenage girls overseas. Give them to Judith. Sandra and the RC Monash think our club is wonderful for saving all the soaps!!
Save used stamps with a good deal of the envelope! They pay by weight!
Don't forget to save your foreign coins and note
