St Peter's Catholic School in Sunshine West
from Bob Allardice
We pulled down this playground today at St Peter's Catholic School in Sunshine West.
We had: Myself, my son Scott and Roger from Nunawading, Wayne and Anne Hunter from Yarraville, Peter Peyton and Julie from Preston, and Peter Cribb from Flemington-Kensington
doing the work.
We managed to get most of the bolts undone or drilled out but 4 proved recalcitrant .
John Arena's team will get that separated for us.
The school is very excited to be able to donate the playground units to kids overseas and would like to see photos etc of the recipients when it is done.
VOLUNTEERS
Just confirming for those that have advised they can help on Saturday and/or next week:
The container will be dropped at Kilsyth this Friday as planned, so we are right to go.
I plan on getting to the yard at 8:00.
If the weather is kind we may be able to pack a bit longer. Who knows. Anyway see you there if you are coming to help.
Address is 6 Cloverlea Drive, Kilsyth South - second entrance

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle
We have been allocated the Bunnings Nunawading Sausage Sizzle for Sunday 6th March. Thanks to all those members who have offered their help and to the Rotary Club of Forest Hill for once again providing some helpers. Let us hope it is a cooler day than the 34C we had on Australia Day, when we raised $1,250.00.
