Death of Jason Chetty/Bradley Bola visit update

BRADLEY BOLA VISIT AND MEDICAL PROGRAM.
SPONSORED BY:   ROMAC   (ROTARY OCEANIA MEDICAL AID FOR CHILDREN)
ASSISTED BY:  ROTARY CLUB OF NUNAWADING

Latest Update on Bradley

To all the ROMAC volunteers. You maybe aware that the death of our friend and colleague was announced late yesterday. Jason was a very active member of our ROMAC team in D9810 as a committee member, host family for "Rickey" and presenter of the ROMAC story.
He was climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and had heart problems. We send condolences to Intha and the family and to all his friends on this loss of a wonderful man.

Bradley Bola saw the head of surgery at Epworth on Friday seeking answers to the headaches which have troubled him for several weeks. He is on new medication which we hope will relieve the pain and get clearance to return home to PNG. Following the successful operations on his nose and eyes and the experience of RYLA as part of his ongoing education, It is important that he gets back to complete his education.

Best wishes,
Norm Casey for the D9810 ROMAC committee.

Rotary Social Media Masterclass

Don't forget our Rotary Social Media Masterclass on Fri 14 October, and then the Social Media 101 session on Sat 15 October.

We've listened to your requirements and have engaged an extra special facilitator to join us as pictured in disguise below!

Cup Day Celebrations
For the past two years, we have attended the Rotary Club of Mitcham's Cup Day Celebration at Redbox Winery in Kangaroo Ground. The function was in support of the Rotary Club of Eltham's Aquabox Project.

Rotarian Colin Spencer has sold the Redbox Winery so the Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges has offered to step in. This is a a great opportunity to socialise with Rotarians from Mitcham, Eltham and Kinglake Ranges. Family and friends are also welcome.
