0n Monday the 9th of May we held a Lunch at the Dorset Gardens. We were without our C.O.C.C. Kevin but we were still able to have a Very Enjoyable Lunch.
The Quality and Quantity of the food was Excellent and although the Attendance was small we all had a Great time. Mike and Neil tried out the Lamb Shank and the report was Excellent. I did mention the meals were LARGE and the Dorset did not let me down.
I believe most attendees did not want a meal that night. I look forward to another lunch when I return from my trip

We were talking to this young man who is trying to get Rotary happening again in Havana Cuba. The hasn't been a Rotary club for 40 years
We were walking up "the avenue of the dead " having just climbed the pyramid of the sun at Teotihuacan being hassled by the hawkers trying to sell their wares. I was approached by this man and was interested in his hat with many badges on it. On closer inspection several of them were Rotary badges! This guy talked to us about "end polio" and cleft palate and was selling his wares to raise money for Rotary projects. As you can imagine some discussion followed, picture taking, business card exchange etc.
So Rotarians everywhere in the world are doing their bit! We had to admire this guy standing out in the sun for a few hours ( 33 degrees and 80 percent humidity) to get a few dollars here and there from hot, exhausted tourists !
Please save the motel soaps or similar size for the 'Days for Girls' program which is a program for sending sanitation products in a wash bag for teenage girls overseas. Give them to Judith.
