LAST WEDNESDAY How to end the pandemic-- and prepare for the next I understand that we had a replay of a TED Talk from December 2021 last week.   An absolutely FABULOUS presentation from Maria Van Kerkhove, the COVID-19 Technical Lead of the World Health Organization (WHO).    "Remain vigilant," Van Kerkhove says.   "Everything you do ... will either get us closer to ending this pandemic -- or it will prolong it."    A Must Watch for everyone.    While I did not attend the meeting, I watched it on youtube at https://www.ted.com/talks/maria_van_kerkhove_how_to_end_the_pandemic_and_prepare_for_the_next?language=en   REPORTS HELP WANTED- PLAYGROUNDS from Graeme Moorfort   We have two playgrounds to dismantle at Citizens Park, Richmond on Monday the 4th April.   It would be good to get at least 6 people, more would be better, to help out.   Please let Rob Jackson know if you can volunteer.   NOTE: This is a great hands on project which covers recycling and benefitting young kids elsewhere who would not normally enjoy these types of facilities. BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLES from Russell Warmington   Great news. We have been allocated Saturday 9th April for our next Bunnings Sausage Sizzle.   If you are able to help by doing a shift please contact Russell Warmington.    We have had a number of successful Sausage Sizzles this year, let’s make this one a good one as well.
