Last week Di Campisano gave a presentation on The Rotary Foundation.
The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty........
Di's comprehensive presentation described The Foundation's Mission and organisational structure and gave an overview of its activities.
It concluded with suggestions of how supporters could make donations, and the impact made by those donations.
(I did not attend the meeting, but she very kindly sent me her Power Point Presentation from which I have, with her permission, created a pdf and uploaded it to the website)
Once again we had a good day making a profit of $1,018.15
even though the early morning weather was not kind to us.
We were fortunate to have Bob and Barb Williams, Stuart Williams and John McPhee from RC Forest Hill, helping out as we had three members unavailable at the last minute. Forest Hill received $203.63 for their effort.
Thanks to our members and partners, Rob J, Dev P, Dick T, Duncan Smart, Margaret Hodge, Harvey L, Ian A, Janette E, Hank G, Ian E, David H, Roger W. Russell W.
Once again a great team spirit from all helpers. We are waiting to hear when our next one is.

MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT NEEDED
from John Lynch
The 2022 Pride of Workmanship Awards
Box Hill Town Hall on
Wednesday 27th April.
We require support from all Rotarians in two important ways:
Please nominate suitable candidates for the Awards. It should only take 10-15 minutes.
Mark the date in your diary and please make an effort to attend. It will be a great night.
Bob Allardice (B3) is scheduled for a major operation early April. He will hopefully only be out of admin action for a few weeks - physical work will be much longer!
He needs someone else trained in doing the plans, both to cover April but also in the longer term - preferably an engineer or other technical type with an eye on both dismantling and
re-installation requirements. A bit of skill with PowerPoint will also be very helpful.
It will only take a few hours to get the hang of it.
Rotary Districts and Rotary Special interest Groups provide a wide range of informative and engaging on-line magazines and journals. Access some of them from the links provided..
