As is often the case, we had many members express interest in the sweep and consequently two sweeps for which to draw.
Members / partners/ family were notified of their allocations by email.
An informative Cup themed Quiz was run. The Zoom format provided lots of capacity for humorous 'asides' from the attendees. (President Ben starred tat this game, and even won the quiz!
Fashions on the Field were judged by Janette, and as always, prizes were awarded for the most appropriately dressed members. This year Roger won for truly representing the spirit of the day, and Judith for sheer elegance and glamour!.
The weekly raffle also took on a Melbourne Cup, and participants were awarded horse numbers from last year's Melbourne Cup. Instead of the spinning wheel, we watched a replay of the 2020 Cup, and awarded prizes on the basis of the first 3 placegetters.
