Assistance Dogs

Jhaneen is an Instructor with Assistance Dogs Australia (ADA).

ADA has recently started a division in Victoria, and is setting up carers for puppies and dogs; primarily in the eastern suburbs between Blackburn and Croydon.

Jihaneen will talk about the dogs and the range of clients who they are given to - people in wheelchairs, kids with Autism, clients with PTSD, in schools and in the law courts.

In particular she will talk about the need for carers:

• For puppy education – 8 weeks to 12 months
• Puppy carers – to look after the puppies for short periods of time – days to weeks
• BnB carers – look after our advanced training dogs, in the evening and weekends.
