Club donations to Bushfire Relief

 

I advised earlier in the month that the Board had approved 2 donations which have been distributed:

 

  1. The Red Cross for $2,500 - they are a first responder and provide essential on the ground support.

 

  1. Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) - National Bushfire Fund for $5,000

 

This is a national fund that Rotary Clubs can request funds from to assist them roll out projects in bush fire affected areas.

 

Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) - National Bushfire Fund has now raised in excess of $370,000 from Australian and International donations.

 

We also have permission from Bunnings to tin rattle for donations and to donate what we collect on 16 and 27 January 2020 to Bushfire appeals.
