RC Balwyn
- assisted with the mezzanine floor, provided a van, paid for the electrical testing facilities.(approx. $15k)
- supplied volunteers regularly to pick up goods on a Saturday once a month for many years.- although this has been discontinued.
RC Box Hill Central
- Since 2005 has held Band concerts annually which has contributed approx. $3-4000pa. Unfortunately this has ceased due to loss of the Arts centre and the covid environment.
RC Nunawading
- engaged supporters
- assisting over recent years with solar panels on both buildings a
- and supporting the Christmas hamper project.
Other ad hoc contributions – e.g. RC Mitcham a recent $1000 donation to assist with Christmas hampers.
Volunteers
Since EERN is an entirely volunteer run organisation, Rotarians have filled all rolls over time.
These roles include warehouse workers, office workers, drivers, jockeys, specialist electrical testers, committee of management members.
Currently from RC Nunawading – Gabby, Ian, and maybe Wayne.
Donors – of both goods and funds
Individual Rotarians & extended families when moving house are often donors of goods.
Similarly there are some individual Rotarians who make financial contributions to EERN.
In summary EERN is thankful for Rotary sharing our vision –
Making a difference to those in need with a sense of community, compassion and respect.
