International Women’s Day 2023

International Women’s Day 2023

Gabby attended an International Women’s Day

committee meeting on Monday night

regarding the running and organising of the annual breakfast at the

Box Hill Town Hall

It was agreed to continue with the IWD Breakfast in 2023 – to be held on 8 March 2023 which is International Women’s Day.

This was based on a number of factors including that:

if it was not run next year, it was unlikely to ever run again
it is a successful event and raises the profile of women and Rotary in the local areas
it is a way of attracting new members

We clarified the goals of the Breakfast

to raise the profile of women and Rotary in Whitehorse
to provide a high-quality function with interesting speakers making it an enjoyable experience for all who attend
to raise money for a nominated charity

We need to find good quality speakers –

if anyone knows a good, suitable speaker please let Gabby know
