featured: RC Nunawading involvement in developing an Ambulance Station in Nunawading
In 1978 the Rotary Club of Nunawading in association with the Ambulance Service Melbourne undertook a feasibility study of the need for an ambulance station to service the City of Nunawading and adjoining areas.
The Rotary club decided to sponsor the project and initiated approaches to the Nunawading City Council, Victorian State Government and strong support was forthcoming from all sections of the community.
Not long after the Ambulance Station was opened in May 1985, the Rotary Club of Nunawading was awarded a Significant Achievement for the project.
