Our club is now registered for the People's Choice Community Lottery. Ticket sales are all online. 100 per cent of the money from ticket sales will come to the club and all funds raised will be used to support Books in Homes, which club member and past DG Shia mentioned in her 2 November talk.
The People's Choice Community Lottery is a wholly online way to raise some much needed funds that's open to community groups and non-profit organisations across Australia. The fundraiser runs through to 2 March. We've set a $2000 target but can easily increase it if we're tracking well. All funds we raise with the ticket sales will be used to support Books in Homes, which Shia has spoken about many times and which was the partner project during her tenure as DG.
Please promote it, share it around on social media (we'll have some posts up soon) and encourage friends, family and business contacts to buy a ticket or twenty.
