FAREWELL FROM NEWGEN!
from Kiel Egging
It's been a few weeks now, but we thought it was still timely to share this and put a full stop on our recent wind-up.

On July 13 we attended our parent club Rotary Club of Nunawading's meeting and gave a presentation highlighting our great achievements over the years, and shared messages from past members.

We also gave a few small chocolatey gifts to some of our biggest supporters along the journey, many of whom are pictured here, including our support crew and past Rotary District 9810 governors. 🍫🍫

Thankyou to everyone who has supported and been a part of our satellite club over its four years of existence.

Over that time we've raised about $20,000 for various causes and projects in our local and global communities, won district awards and appeared in national publications.

For a small satellite group of young professionals with busy lives, lucky to have five active members at any given time and also battling the challenges of Covid in recent years, we well and truly punched above our weight.

A special thankyou to Judith Eadon and Malcolm Chiverton for their initial vision and efforts setting up the club, and Rotary Club of Nunawading for letting us be under their wing all this time and helping them grow.

The two of us are focusing on other priorities at the moment, but we'll look to remain connected and support this great organisation in some form. We encourage YOU to get involved and learn more about Rotary or Rotaract to enrich your life both personally and professionally.
