from Di Campisano
Di Received the following letter from the D 9810 Foundation Committee

Congratulations on your appointment as 2021/22 Foundation Chair for your Club.
I wish to report that we've recently completed the reconciliation of the District Centurion records with those of the Australian Rotary Foundation Trust for year 2020-21. As a result, we can confirm that with the assistance of your Club last year '2020/21', personal giving through the Centurion Program beat all expectations and reached $51,389 from 331 generous Centurion Donors. This outstanding result is up from the $41,539 achieved in 2019/20.
Congratulations to everyone for making this happen, a great effort - Thank You! The foundation Committee would be very pleased if you could announce this result together with our sincere appreciation at your next weekly Club Meeting. Everyone involved should feel very proud supporting our charity.
As you know the District Centurion team rely heavily on the support of the Club Foundation Chairperson to generate Club member interest in the program as well as to assist maintain current contributor records. This is an ongoing process and again during 2021-22 we seek your assistance.
In order to do good around the world more often, please help us 'encourage more Rotarians to join the Program' which then not only assists the foundation Globally but helps make available to our District Clubs more District funds in 3 years time. Therefore, I would be very grateful if you would make this one of your 2021-22 Club Foundation Goals. After all, it may be your effort that will make all the difference.
For your use, we've attached a Centurion report which shows your Club performance in the Centurion program and lists member participation over the past four years. If you could please check the listing and advise Ian of any changes required to members details, especially contact details or members who are no longer in your Club, we would be very appreciative. We will be using these details to contact members when a renewal falls due so it's important that we have the latest data.
As a way of assisting your Club to increase the participation rate, we note that some Club members enjoy great success through saving their loose change. To this end, through Kevin, we can provide Centurion Towers free to your Club for distribution to members if desired. We've also attached an electronic copy of the Centurion membership form to assist your members with new or renew contributions.
Finally, we would be pleased to address your Club meeting on either or both the Centurion Club & the Foundation at any time if desired.
Kind regards
