Guest Speaker - Chris de Fraga

Chris de Fraga is a member of the Rotary Club of Balwyn. He was the motoring editor of The Age for 27 years, for the Melbourne Herald for two years and has been an advanced driving instructor.

Chris spoke about "How to Crash Your Car .... and Walk Away". He told us about the evolution of the modern motor vehicle and particularly advances in safety.

His key message was to plan ahead and always look for soft places to land when driving. A good example is to aim between fence posts when forced to head off the road.
