Because of the change of plans for the packing of the showbags for the International Women's Day Breakfast, the meeting became more of a District Conference report. All the attendees present shared their individual highlights with the Club. Some even wore their 'jailhouse' costumes from the Dinner Dance! President Phil spoke of the upcoming Multi-District Conference to be held in Melbourne in February 2019. With an estimated 2,000 Rotarians in attendance, the speakers and the program should be magnificent.

Past Member Colin Read paid us a visit and stayed for a meal. He had made a number of trips to Cambodia recently and is back home for about 9 months. He spoke of the extreme poverty and corruption in Cambodia, especially in the rural areas. He has been invited back as a Guest Speaker on 23 May to tell us more.

Neil Ibbott reminded us that our meeting on 18 April will be at the Volunteering with Rotary Forum instead of at Bucatini. Each member is required to personally invite at least one colleague or acquaintance to attend.

Russell Warmington distributed raffle tickets for a brand new Kia Picanto to every Member. The Club retains the full $ 2.00 for every ticket sold.
